You must be wondering why I put the dove as my header. Well I believe it is a symbol of peace. Peace is an important global issue because it is the opposite of war. Wars usually lead to death or hatred. When people hate each other they have issues with global partnership. It could also lead to poverty.
Global partnership is one of the eight millennium goals. In fact it is the eighth millennium goal. To the left you can see a picture of the eight millennium goals. They are all linked with each other because they need to work together to fulfill their goal for example;
Poverty and hunger vs. child mortality are related because if you are a child and you live in a poor country you have more chance of dying. If you have food you have less chance of dying. this is why it is important to help people complete these goals. The United Nations set these goals for 2015. All the goals are important to help improve the world and the humans and animals that inhabit it.
